Does Awapuni school take zero waste seriously?

Does Awapuni school take zero waste seriously

I strongly agree Awapuni school does take zero waste seriously. Why?
Because we spend time looking for it and researching. It is not good to let the waste keep on going around the world and damaging all the oceans.
It is not helping us grow and the plants. If we had no trees or food to ewe will only eat the dead fish or fish that have eaten the plastic. Because of that consequences will happen and we would not breathe well.

It even might kill our environment or damages. We can try to reduce the waste.
Awapuni school is doing a green team. what the green team do they look around our classrooms and see if all classrooms have tidy shoes and tidy bags and check if our paper is in the right bin..They also make sure our trees and plants keep getting watered every day.
In fact, Awapuni school made a costume for the wearable art show we reuse, reduce and recycle our paper so we can not.

Waipuna-rangi poem

What is Waipuna-a-rangi

Fresh cold water
Sklikey deep blue raindrops
Bright drops splashing
Drip, drop, drips
Amazing blue light flash

Waipuna-a-rangi
Shine so high up in the sky
Beauty water drops

THIS IS WAIPUNA-A-RANGI

(DANGEROUS CYCLONES)

                         (DANGEROUS CYCLONES)

A cyclone goes round, round and round
Did you know that a cyclone can make a big damage? A cyclone can be very dangerous to our happedits?
How does it happen? A tropical cyclone is like giant engines that use warm moist air as fuel. Over warm oceans near the Equator. Warm moist air rises upward near the surfaces. The air moves upwards. There can be less air near the surface.

Parts of the cyclone?
The eyewall is out of the cyclone but is very dangerous.
The eye is inside, but you can be caught in it.
The dispersed air is up top so wind or air will come in so that is how

Maori connection?  The Maori name for cyclones is Haumātakataka. Hā āwha nuī ā hetion Kino tepupuhi ote Haumātakataka. A cyclone is a bad storm with a violent wind.

How to get through it?
Disconnect an electrical appliance.
Stay inside and shelter. Well clear of windows in the strongest part of your billing. If your building starts to break up protect yourself with mattresses ruges or even blankets under a ...big table
BEWARE OF THE CALM EYE!!!

Other interesting facts. Cyclone tracy hit darwin in 1974, And it was the most destructive. Cyclones are the most dangerous natural hazard to people and animals. Cyclones spin clockwise in the southeast.

Example of impacted on New zealand. Cyclone bola was the most dangerous cyclone to ever hit New zealand. the rain caused devastating floods and slides resulting. In the evacuation of thousand of people and the deaths of three people.
